Tom's Cottage - A Wilgowrah Escape

Welcome to Tom’s Cottage, a peaceful retreat nestled in the extensive gardens of the historic “Wilgowrah” homestead on a 480 acre working farm. Located just 5 kms from Mudgee you may explore the many attractions of the region with ease. Tom's Cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Breakfast in the morning sun on the deck or relax on the sun lounges in the afternoon. Children 2-12yrs or Infants 0-2 not accepted. Dogs are accepted - please see house rules. The space The cottage features an open floor plan with a combined living and bedroom area, private bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a king bed with quality linen, leather lounge, gas fireplace for winter warmth, television and reverse cycle air conditioning for comfort all year round. A fully equipped kitchen featuring a breakfast bar overlooking the countryside. Enjoy the peaceful views of Lawsons Creek and Mount Buckaroo from the large north facing deck. Kitchen basics included full cream milk, a selection of tea and coffee, olive oil and plunger coffee. Guests are welcome to wander through the paddocks and along Lawsons Creek. A fire pit with complimentary kindling and wood is provided. Please not that the fire will be closed during periods of high bush fire risk. Guest access Guests a free to use all the lower garden area around Tom's Cottage. There is a dedicated car parking area with directional signage. An off leash dog area is available on the eastern side of the lower garden. Other things to note The fire pit is not available during summer months due to high bush fire risk.
