Leave the hustle and bustle of city life behind. This beautiful, spacious 1 bedroom retreat is perfect for couples and has everything you need to enjoy a stay in this beautiful region. Located on 110 acres of rolling hills just over an hour from Melbourne, it's the perfect place to relax and experience some peace and tranquility. Dale View is well hidden from the road, as you sweep up the driveway you will see kangaroos, birds and gum trees as the property unfolds in front of you. The space Dale View offers luxurious, open plan living, quality furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen, large verandahs, courtyard with fire pit and BBQ area. The property is centrally located between three of our finest wine regions and only a short 15 minute drive to Seymour and a selection of quality restaurants and shops. Local attractions include the beautiful Goulburn River, Yea Rail Trail and a number of military museums and historic sites and wineries of course. We're an eco friendly property, totally "off the grid" with solar power and harvested rain water but please note that we DO NOT have electric car charging facilities. We live on the property and the accommodation is separated by a 9m carport that we share, however your privacy is totally respected at all times. We have cows, horses and chickens for you to visit. Being far from city lights, star gazers will be delighted with the vastness of an endless sky. This is a beautiful rural, environmentally friendly property and as such, there is a large range of wildlife on our 110 acres. This includes kangaroos, possums, birds, skinks, lizards, insects, long neck turtles, rabbits, the occasional wombat or emu, foxes, etc. etc. They have made their home on our property because it is the ideal place for them. Please use the internet earth or map sites to see where we live and then make your decision to stay. If you intend to make, or have made, a booking at Dale View, we assume that you’ve read this information and agree to our policy regarding ‘pests’. Any cancellation by you, either before or during your stay, due to ‘pests’ will not be refunded, and we will not be responsible for finding you alternative accommodation. Guest access Guests have this space all to themselves and can access all areas of the farm on foot. Other things to note Dale View is about 15 minutes from the nearest shops, cafes and restaurants. The kitchen is fully equipped and we provide some cooking basics like salt, pepper, cooking oil as well as breakfast cereal, fresh eggs, fresh bread, butter and milk and have a large vegetable patch and fruit orchard that we are happy to share when we have an abundance but please ask us before helping yourselves as this is food grown by us for us and our family. If you plan on cooking for yourself you may need to bring some supplies of your own. For longer term stays of 1 month or more, the above provisions are only provided on your arrival, not on a weekly basis.
