Description
In a former presbytery, in a setting of nature and old stones, you will find both something to rejuvenate you and to relax you. You will be sensitive to the charm of the place and its calm. Ideal when you're behind on your reading! The space The Tower is composed of two rooms stacked to form a small mezzanine. The first with its 14th century fireplace includes a small sofa, a dining area with sink. Upstairs: the bed and a small water room includes the toilet and shower. The Tower opens onto a very large terrace surrounded by garden and trees, in the heart of nature. You can bask on a sun lounger, have lunch on a picnic table and even play ping-pong (rackets and balls are available in a bag hanging in the Tower) Guest access Free parking at the foot of the stairs that lead to the Tower. 1 st bakery 4 km away (Vignot) and all the shops, restaurants, bars, industrial zone in Commercy, a town famous for its delicious madeleines and its castle where Voltaire briefly stayed, ranked among "the most beautiful detours in France". 60 km from Verdun, a major site of the 1 st World War and a few km from the trenches that can be visited freely in Apremont and the salient of St Mihiel. Early July opening of the Acqua Mosa aquatic complex and 20 minutes from Lake Madine, a place for swimming, walking and birdwatching. Other things to note I hope you don't mind classical music and jazz because sometimes you will hear, in the background, (at quite reasonable hours!) one of us rehearsing at the piano.
