You will see a hallway of photos of the characters who contributed to the Uluwatu you know today. Our neighborhood is distanced away from the party buzz, making it a great place to retreat back to after a day of exploring. Every layer and piece of this home tells a story. Unique natural materials were blended with modern finishings to create a balance of old and new. Nearly every component of the home was customized on site: recycled teak finishings, steel pivot doors, terrazzo floors and kitchen, bath components, iron-wood decking, with natural coral stone cladding surfaces of the interior and garden. The garden and landscape cascades in and around the salt-water pool to give the outdoor living concept an extra natural jungle feel. Ola House is greatly adored from across the seas, that we’ve been featured in Lucy Gladewright’s new book, ‘Retreat’ which you can find in our library. Other things to note Ola House is located on the main street. Anticipate some road noise like motorbikes, happy people laughing at the cafe and the little buzz of Uluwatu. We provide a complimentary JBL bluetooth speaker for your convenience (and to offset the noise), so kick back, relax and set the mood with your choice of tunes. We are close to town, 10 minutes away from Padang Padang and Bingin. If you are looking for an off grid experience, we recommend booking a more remote property. Thanks for reading!
