The space A special opportunity to stay in an original townhome in the great and quiet neighborhood of Squirrel Hill. A well-maintained warm place where you can safely walk to “the center of the universe” for all the dining and shops Squirrel Hill offers. This is a small bedroom upstairs with a full size foam bed, extra pillows, ceiling fan, AC, a desk and chairs, open closet and mirror. There are two other rooms available to book upstairs and a shared bathroom cleaned between guests. We can keep cleaning fees low if you clean up as you go. We have a large deckbox on the porch where you can store things with a lock at any time. Early check-in / late checkout may also be accommodated. Pigeon Bagels (open 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM closed Tuesdays) is a 8 min walk up Murray Ave, left on Hobart🥯 Walking up Murray Ave is the best of vastly different Pittsburgh pizzas: “Mineo’s Pizza House” (cheesy) then “Aiello’s Pizza” (saucy) is on your left. A block further up is “Napoli Pizza”, thin crust:-) And then “Pastolis” up on the corner is homey with a gluten-free option! Check out “Papelón Venezuelan Arepa Bar”, “Maya Sushi”, “The Mediterranean Table” (we just had a great lamb kabob), and “Viet Nom Nom” (great Banh Mi)- all just up Murray Ave. “Vendor Bender,” a one-of-a-kind large self-service vending machine shop with charcuterie, international chips and drinks is open 24/7 just up and across the street. We are a walk from the Mac Miller sites fans pilgrimage to pay tribute through Blue Slide Park, Taylor Alderdice, Frick Park Market to the serene grounds of Homewood Cemetery.
