Homely and Comfortable in a quiet location

A pretty, well-equipped and homely two bedroom terraced property situated in a quiet and lovely area of Chandler's Ford. Marwell Zoo, the New Forest, Paulton's Park/Peppa Pig World, Beaulieu, Isle of Wight ferry links and south coast beaches are a short drive away with excellent motorway and rail links. Ideal for contractor/business stays as well as families, couples and friends. Walk to the local shops and take a stroll to the beautiful Hiltingbury Lakes and local nature reserve. The space We are delighted to offer our entire fully furnished, centrally heated home with all the amenities you will need for an enjoyable stay. We want you to feel as relaxed and 'at home' as you possibly can. You can park on our driveway or in front of the house on the road. Parking is free. We have gone with the 'cottagey’ style decor to suit the age and style of the property as the photos show. The two good sized bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. Each bedroom has a comfortable double bed with plenty of storage and wardrobe space, along with 'all seasons' king size quilts for your comfort. Bed linen and towels are provided. The front bedroom can comfortably house a travel cot. Please note, there are no TVs in the bedrooms. The bathroom has a large heated towel rail with a power shower over the bath with two cupboards for your toiletries. At the top of the stairs is a small storage room with plenty of additional hanging space and provides an ideal place for housing your luggage when not in use. An iron, ironing board, clothes airer, 2 x fans, portable heater and childrens’ toys/books live here. Downstairs is the kitchen, good sized lounge/dining area, cloakroom and conservatory. The kitchen offers a double oven/grill, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, slow cooker and essentials. The lounge has a double aspect with a two seater and a three seater sofa, dining table with four chairs, a gas fire and smart TV, so you can sign in and out of your Netflix or Prime account or other apps. Relax, listen to the birds and enjoy a quiet cuppa or a glass of something nice in the conservatory as you look out into the enclosed back garden which is accessible via the external double doors. A tumble dryer is situated here also. Patio furniture is offered during the warmer months to allow guests to sit outside in the garden. Cushions for the chairs are stored in the conservatory during this time. Baby supporting items are available upon request including a highchair, dining chair booster seat, 2 x stair gates and travel cot for which we kindly ask you to provide your own pillow and sleeping bag for your little one for health and safety reasons. A 4 tog (approx) cot duvet is available on request. Plastic plates, bowls, cups and cutlery sets are provided should you require them for children. A small box of toys, books and puzzles are accessible for your young children. Please check them first before offering to your child to ensure they are age appropriate. Steps are offered in the bathroom and downstairs toilet to help children access the toilet and sink. Guests wishing to bring bikes are welcome to store them in our locked garage during the duration of your stay. Please ask. Chandler's Ford is on the outskirts of main towns and cities. We are positioned in a quiet, green area. By car, the property is approximately 10 minutes from Winchester, 10 minutes from Eastleigh, 18 minutes from Romsey and 20 minutes from Southampton. We are positioned in a great location for family visits to Southampton or Winchester universities. Chandler's Ford train station is only 5 minutes away by car and connects with main lines. Parking is available there. When considering value for money, please be aware that this site charges a service fee to guests which does not come to us as a host and we are not responsible for setting the rates for this. We simply set the nightly charge. We are very sorry but our property is unsuitable for wheelchair users. Please note that we are strictly a "no pet" home. Check-in is from 3.00 pm and check-out is by 10.00 am. Please view our amenities section so you know what to expect at our property. Guest access Check-in is contact-free via a key safe lock box, allowing guests to arrive at their leisure any time from 3.00 pm. You have access to the whole property (7 rooms plus a storage room) and back/front gardens. Entry is via the front of the property. Cars can be parked on our driveway or in front of the house (all free!) Local shops, including a Morrisons Daily and Tesco Express are within walking distance, along with a Post Office, takeaway, deli/cafe, hairdressers, pharmacy and beauty salon. Other things to note Hiltingbury Lakes are a 5 minute walk from the house. An absolute must and so very beautiful. As we are a family friendly property, we would like to inform potential guests that Paulton's Park/Peppa Pig World is a 20 minute drive away, Marwell Zoo is a 15 minute drive away, Romsey Rapids is 18 minutes, Flip-Out (trampoline /soft play fun) is 5 minutes away by car. Not forgetting Southampton’s amazing West Quay shopping centre with plenty of dining options and a Showcase cinema which is 20 minutes away by car.
