Tucked away beneath the trees in a quiet San Luis Obispo neighborhood, SloStudioLoft offers a peaceful and private getaway with all the comforts of home—and then some. Whether you’re here for wine tasting, a coastal road trip, or simply to relax by the pool, we’ve designed this space to feel like your own little retreat. You’ll enjoy your own entrance, exclusive access to the travertine patio and seasonal pool, a cozy loft with room to sleep six, and thoughtful touches throughout—from fresh coffee and breakfast basics to a fully stocked kitchen and large bathroom. Guest access You’ll enjoy your own private entrance and exclusive access to the travertine patio and solar-heated seasonal pool (open May–September), plus outdoor dining and sunbathing areas year-round. You’ll be greeted on your arrival with a gift basket of assorted fruits, wine and cheese. Fresh pastries and a few extras are provided in the fridge: cream, milk, butter. Inside, the newly upgraded small kitchen includes a 4-burner electric range, oven, full fridge with top freezer, and a bar seating area for four. There’s also a small dining table and chairs. We’ve stocked it with essentials—cookware, dishes, utensils, and a few spices. For mornings or light snacks, enjoy fresh local coffee beans with a grinder and French press, Keurig, a selection of teas and creamers, plus breakfast basics like pancake mix, oatmeal, and syrup. We provide fresh filtered water in the fridge. There’s also a clean propane grill ready for poolside BBQs. The cozy TV lounge area features a futon sofa, a 33” Smart TV with Fire Stick (Netflix, Hulu, Prime-ready), a built-in desk, and hidden bookshelves with board games and kids books for a homey touch. Sleeping arrangements are comfortable for up to 6 guests: —One queen memory foam bed on the ground level (rave-reviewed!) —Two queen beds with memory foam toppers in the loft (ladder access) —A futon sofa that converts to a double bed All beds are made with soft cotton linens, fluffy duvet comforters, and a mix of goose-down and memory foam pillows for a restful night’s sleep. The private bathroom includes a separate shower and is accessible from both the bedroom and the patio. We provide all the essentials—Dove body wash, shampoo, conditioner, a hairdryer, and plenty of plush bath, pool, and beach towels. There’s free, safe street parking right in front—on our side of the street. We’re located on the northern edge of Edna Valley wine country, just 5–7 minutes (or a $9–$12 Uber/Lyft) from downtown San Luis Obispo. You’ll be a short drive from Morro Bay (20 min), Hearst Castle (1 hr), and the breathtaking Big Sur coastline heading north on scenic Highway 1 toward Carmel-by-the-Sea. We take great pride in cleanliness. Our 5-star cleaning team follows Airbnb’s Enhanced Cleaning Protocol, with thorough sanitation of all surfaces, freshly laundered linens, and sterilized kitchenware after every stay. Other things to note • Property Agreement/Pool Waiver. We ask that our guests read our Property Waiver. A copy will be available for you to sign upon your arrival. • Graduations (Cal Poly) are usually booked a year in advance, MUST BE PRE-APPROVED before booking, and require a 4-night minimum stay. • Swimming Pool (May-September) Please note to consent acknowledgment that there is no lifeguard on duty, and therefore all guests swim at their own risk. The pool is an amenity. There may be a rare occasion that we must do pool maintenance and close the pool to comply with providing a safe and sanitary environment for our guests. We will make every effort to notify you if possible in advance. • Our GuestBook Binder located in the SloStudioLoft includes local places to eat and drink, beaches, hiking and biking trails, and many local activities such as ‘Thursday Downtown Farmer's Market’. We enjoy concerts in the plaza, wine-tasting, semi-annual wine festivals, and music, film, and jazz festivals. • Emergency Plan. The binder includes other resourceful information for your safety, i.e., Gas Shut Off, Water Shut Off, Power Shut Off, etc. No on-site laundry for guest use; laundromat available nearby. • We have recently had to raise our cleaning fees after 12 years. Additionally please note a "Goldilocks Fee"***will be charged for guests who enjoy "testing" the other beds, as an extra guest fee/bed. • We hope you will "holiday" here in SLO for several days to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us here on the Central Coast.
