Ketav's Abode

Nestled in the foothills of the Dhauladhar range, amidst the fields is Ketav's Abode. Its calm and serene environment is very appealing. This property is surrounded by Pine trees on one end and fields on the other. This place brings you in touch with nature. The top roof gives a 360-degree view of the mountain and fields. The place is very safe for families with kids. Places like Baijnath,Palampur, Anderetta, Chamundaji, Dharamsala, and Mcleodganj are within one hour drive. The space Ketav's Abode is located in the rural backdrop overlooking the Dhauladhar mountain range of the Himalayas. Gopalpur is a quaint little village near Palampur. The area is surrounded by tea gardens. Gopalpur is also famous for Wild Life Zoo having a variety of animals and birds. The property has 3 bedrooms, two rooms have a double bed which can be converted to twin beds, with attached bathrooms. These two rooms have space for a third bed, too, at an extra cost. The third bedroom has two queen beds joined together, an extra bed can also be provided at extra cost. This room, too, has an attached bathroom. All the rooms are provided with hot and cold air conditioners, and have cupboards. The bathrooms are equipped with geysers. Soap, moisturizer, shampoo, and fresh towels are provided as a standard in the bathrooms. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. Each room is equipped with an electric kettle, and tea bags and coffee sachets, sugar, and dairy whitener are provided. A simple but tasty breakfast is also included in the package which can be served in the dining area or outside in the sit out. The mornings here start with the beautiful chirping of the birds and the first rays of the sun to brighten up your day. One can see people quietly working in the fields. Ketav's Abode is a beautiful place to relax and rejuvenate oneself. One can just soak in nature in this calm and serene environment. The evenings are beautiful. The sunsets are amazing. Enjoy the dinner under the starlit sky on the rooftop. One can light a bonfire and enjoy the harmony of night. It's a paradise for star gazers and bird watchers. The place is by and large, very quiet and calm as compared to the noise pollution of the cities. If the guest wants a cook, he can be provided on extra payment. For a cook the guests will have to inform beforehand after booking the space. Ketav's Abode has a spa within the premises, so the guests can enjoy and relax with various Ayurvedic styles of relaxing massages and sauna . The guests can even unwind themselves with rejuvenation and detoxification therapies. The spa timings are between 10 a.m. and 4:30 pm These services are provided at an extra cost. Guest access Apart from the designated bedroom, the kitchen with all the modern amenities like microwave, refrigerator, crockery, cooking utensils, etc. is at the disposal of the guests. A fully automatic washing machine and a dryer have been set up for the guests on the ground floor. The detergent and washing are chargeable. The top roof, the common living room with television, the frontyard, of Ketav's Abode is at the guests' disposal. For a group of 6 to 10 on a twin sharing basis, the whole house is an ideal location for a family holiday. The guests are requested to maintain the sanctity of the place. Other things to note We have a Panchkarma Center within the premises, so the guests can enjoy a Relaxation/Rejuvenation therapy at a very reasonable cost. We arrange hiking trips and guide/arrange tours to historical places and surrounding visiting spots at extra cost. When required, we even arrange for a taxi for the guests. Free pickup is provided from the nearest bus stand or airport for a minimum five nights stay. The nearest hospital is a government hospital at Gopalpur itself just 100 meters away from the property. The nearest airport is Dharamshala airport, which is connected with Delhi via regular daily flights. The nearest bus stands are Nagrota Bagwan and Palampur with Volvo bus connectivity from ISBT New Delhi and Chandigarh.
