Ochlipówka. House in Orava

Ochlipówka is a comfortable house for 10 people, with five bedrooms and a spacious living room with a fireplace and direct access to a sunny veranda. We invite you to spend time in its interiors or on a spacious plot with a place for a bonfire. It is an excellent base for exploring Orava, both the Polish and Slovak parts. The house is located near Babia Góra National Park - hiking and cycling trails, monuments of wooden architecture, lifts, rope park and bike park are at your fingertips. The space We invite you to Zubrzyca Górna, a quiet village located at the foot of Babia Góra and Police, or rather its northwestern end - called Ochlipowo by the locals. The house is located on a large plot of land on the slope of a hill. From here you can see the monumental Babia Góra and the Tatra Mountains in the distance. The year-round, comfortable house offers five bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate 8-10 people. In the common area there is a fireplace that allows you to warm the interior on cooler evenings or just relax in a cozy atmosphere. The kitchen contains basic equipment for preparing meals - but if you are not interested in cooking during your stay, we will gladly recommend restaurants in the area. The upstairs bathroom is equipped with a shower and a bathtub. We invite you to relax on the sunny veranda or in the shade of the spreading and mature linden, birch, pine and larch trees, proudly surrounding the house (consider mushroom picking!). On the plot, there is a developed, covered place for a bonfire with a grate. When spending time at home during evenings or bad weather, we recommend using board games, TV and WIFI or a small library. Regardless of your choice, we recommend spending this time relaxing comfortably by the fireplace in our atmospheric living room. The area offers both natural and local cultural attractions. Hiking trails in the Babia Góra National Park invite you to go hiking. At a distance of 4 km there is the Krowiarki Pass, where the trails to Babia Góra and the Policy range begin. Near Ochlipówka you will also find dream paths for cycling, for example, starting right next to the house, the so-called "Rajsztag" stretching along the southern slopes of Babia Góra or the Babia Góra Trails in nearby Zawoja. At a distance of about 10 km, there is a chairlift to Mosorny Groń, which operates all year round, and 19 km away there is a ski slope in Spytkowice. It is worth visiting the open-air museum of the Orava Ethnographic Park Museum in Zubrzyca Górna, as well as the open-air museum in nearby Sidzina and the surrounding monuments of wooden architecture. Near the house there is an attraction for the youngest - the Wypasiona Dolina rope park, right next to the Orawski Dwór inn. Our neighborhood is also a great base for trips to the Slovak Orava - the Horna Orava landscape park, Orava Castle and Orava Lake at the southern neighbors. Guest access We offer the entire house, i.e. a spacious living room, kitchen, 5 bedrooms, bathroom with toilet and additional toilet, garage, shed, garden, barbecue, etc. Other things to note Heating - in transitional periods, the house can be heated with a fireplace as needed. Central heating is available in the winter season. NOTE - during the heating season, the average temperature in the house is about 19 degrees, hence the option of additional heating with a fireplace. Firewood is prepared for guests! The nearest store is 3 km from the house.
