Ursula worked in the hotel industry all her career and after more than 20 years of reflection this project had finally matured! With Envie de Sud – holiday rental and B&B rooms, she realized her life’s dream. The design of the rooms and holiday rentals is original, very colourful and designed to bring a smile to your face. The small garden, hidden from view, is a real paradise. The Mediterranean plants provide shade and there is a nice swimming pool to cool off in the summer. The Petite Camargue between the Costières de Nîmes, the marshes and ponds and the nature reserves of the Camargue has become our adopted home. The Vauvert greenway leads after a few kilometres into the Via Rhôna – the cycle path from Switzerland to the Mediterranean. You can cycle from Vauvert to Aigues-Mortes (20km away) or a little further to the Espiguette beach (25km away). Andreas, is a computer scientist. Like Ursula, he is Swiss and works in our old homeland. We’ll tell you the rest over a glass of wine at the Table d`hôtes. Besides Swiss dialect of Basle (Ursula) and Swiss dialect of Lucerne (Andreas) we speak fluent German, English and French.
