The peacefulness of this place ideally suits those who long for a holiday in the quiet of nature, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This self-contained accommodation is yours for the stay. The property is centrally located in the valley of the Gartempe, southeast of Poitiers, and is really a hidden treasure. The space This holiday home is entirely located on the ground floor and offers plenty of privacy, rest and relaxation. The gîte (cottage) is suitable for 4 persons. In addition, the B&B property contains two other bedrooms (Le Marronnier and Le Dragon) which are available separately. This allows a total of 6-8 persons to stay. The cottage has a sitting area, fully equipped kitchen with cooking island, bathroom with shower and two bedrooms. Free Wi-Fi access is available. On site are parking spaces and a spacious garden. The living room has a sofa, a pellet stove which provides a lovely ambience and a television. The open and fully equipped luxury kitchen contains a large dining table with four chairs. There is also a bathroom with sink and shower on the ground floor. The toilet and a washing machine are both located separately in the cottage. The master bedroom is furnished with a double bed and wardrobe. The other bedroom has 2 single beds and a wardrobe. A travel cot and high chair for babies and toddlers are available. Enjoy the spacious garden with terrace for rest and relaxation. There is a magnificent view over the landscape. Included are garden furniture (a dining table with four chairs). Here you can enjoy privacy and peacefulness. The children can play safely outside here. Guest access At Les Buis you will find a garden with a few goats, chickens and turkeys. The holiday home is surrounded by miles of open countryside and farmland. Wild boar and deer are a common sight grazing in the meadows and woods of the area. The area is well known for its leisure lakes and well signposted walks. The bed and breakfast is 4 km away from the hiking route GRP tour de la Vienne Limousine. Also nearby is the longest cycling route in France, the Scandibérique part of EuroVelo 3. Popular places to visit nearby include Montmorillon and Le Dorat at 20 km and Bellac at 25 km. The beautiful village Mortemart or watch and listen blues music at the Gartempe Blues Festival in Saint-Savin. In Bussière-Poitevine, which is 4,5 kilometres away, you can find a grocery store, boulangerie, butchery, pharmacy, post office, bar/restaurant and discotheque.
