Within minutes you can stroll through historic Patterson Park, catch a game at M&T Bank or enjoy a meal on the waterfront. On the Airbnb listing these amenities are listed as 6 separate spaces; but please review the pictures thoroughly to see that the bedroom is the largest space. Help yourself to coffee, snacks and drinks in the refrigerator! Should you need them, we keep laundry supplies under the sink. With the separate entrance you likely will not see us; but we will provide our contact information so you can reach us for emergencies ... or if you want to say hi and gain a local's perspective on life in Baltimore. Canton is a charming neighborhood, with dog-loving, beer drinking, "football and crab-cakes, that's what Maryland does" people. Our city has flaws, but we recognize them, work to reconcile them, and blast on park benches "Best City in America!" On nearly every corner you'll find a local bar, restaurant, or business, which are worth exploring. Stroll through the neighborhood and observe Baltimore's unique history through the many facades of the rowhome. Patterson Park is beautiful, and one of America's oldest. It once hosted Civil War soldiers, and now provides a wide range of amenities. If you don't get a chance to play pick-up soccer, it's at least worth a walk around the park. Canton square is just blocks away, too. You can't go wrong eating, shopping and drinking at any business there. The promenade provides serene views of Baltimore's harbor. We love to walk down to the Korean War Memorial and continue along the docks until Fells Point. Walk Bike Ride an Electric Scooter Drive (and park in the parking pad) Or take a lyft or uber. Guests can park in the parking pad. When you park, there are stairs adjacent to the house. Walk down the stairs to enter the guest suite. If the weather is nice, you are welcome to sit out back and enjoy the grill. All we ask is that you clean-up when you're finished and that you respect our neighbors who will likely be outside grilling or playing cornhole next to you. We'd love you to make use of that space, but also be courteous with your noise in the late hours. Our house was built in 1915, and upstairs we have original hardwood floors. With this charm comes the occasional creaking; thanks for understanding. Please let us know if we are walking too loud and we will put on slippers :) Our location provides great proximity to the Canton square, and we're less than a mile from the Inner Harbor. That's why you may hear some ships docking, trains passing through, helicopters flying by and the occasional loud drunk person at night. Don’t be alarmed, we live in a very safe place (and we just purchased brand new windows, which should help with any sounds). GROUPS OF 3 OR MORE- extra air mattresses , pillows, and linens are provided in storage bins under the bed. Please rearrange the bedroom however you need to to make the space comfortable for your stay.
