Chestnut Yurt at Shopland Hall

Chestnut Yurt at Shopland Hall with its Eleventh Century Church Yard. We hope to provide a comfortable glamping experience with a king size bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and a comfy chair with views of rabbits on the lawns. There are many footpaths to walk at Shopland plus a mile long pier on Southend seafront. Horses graze our fields with a golf course next door Their restaurant is open to non-members. There are many good pubs and restaurants in the area. Old Leigh cockle shed's worth visiting The space A 5metre Yurt provides ample room only 10 metres away from toilets, showers and washup facilities with plenty of hot water. The Yurt is near the stables full of horses. A BBQ is provided and a picnic table for outdoor eating. Guest access The shopping centre in Southend on Sea is 15 minutes by car. Rochford is a bit closer with its market in the square on a Tuesday. There is a big car park in Rochford. The seafront has plenty of parking near the beaches with Thorpe Bay recommended for the access to the beach. A visit to Old Leigh for its pubs and fresh shell fish is a must. Other things to note We are in the country but not far from the sea. To reach public transport on foot is a 5minute walk across the golf course next door to us that reaches Waitrose and a main bus route. No 6 bus goes to Southend High street. We do not provide towels. Mains electric with USB ports on one of the sockets.
