Renovated spacious stone stable cottage, one of five arranged around the old stable yard, set on our working farm in idyllic countryside. En suite king bedroom with walk-in wardrobe. The space Merlin is set on Cynghordy Estate, run by our family for over 100 years, in idyllic hill country. Opens onto the gravelled stable courtyard. One of 5 cottages set in lawned gardens: each is private so ideal for any size party from 2 to 32. Guest access BBQ in the garden. Guests can explore our 350 acre estate, including our remote hill farm. Maps showing suggested walks in the surrounding availableonrequest. Lock up garage for cycles. Other things to note An ideal location for a quiet getaway from hustle and bustle, perfect for relaxing in the hot tub, walking, cycling, painting, birdwatching. The indoor hot tub is normally available to all cottages from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It must be booked using the booking form in the dry room. Normally one booking per stay, for longer stays at quiet times of the year more may be possible. Lockable during use for privacy. No children under 5. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult. There is no extra charge for the hot tub. It may be closed at any time at the owners' discretion for essential maintenance without compensation. Each guest is provided with one bathsheet (more available on request for a small charge). Gels are provided in each bathroom. Self- catering with a fully equipped kitchenette including an electric oven with 4 pan hob, toaster, microwave, washer drier and fridge freezer. Food and drink are not provided for safety reasons. TV with freesat. 5G and mobile reception. FFTP WiFi reception variable. Spacious living room with books and games and upstairs landing sitting area for relaxation. Four other spacious cottages also available sleeping 5/6/8/11. Well-behaved dogs welcome (max.2)- downstairs only-by arrangement in advance @£20 each, charge payable through Airbnb. As this is a working livestock farm and there are other guests on site, dogs must be kept under control at all times, on a lead outside. Indoors they should remain downstairs and may not get on the furniture. Mobile homes, campervans and caravans may not park on site: there are no facilities for connection to amenities on the site. Vehicles may not be connected to facilities inside cottages, for example using pipes or extension cables. There is ample gravelled parking- please avoid parking/ turning on paths and lawns. Vehicles are parked on the site at their owners' risk: no responsibility is accepted by the owners for any loss or damage incurred to vehicles, or to guests' other property, at the site. CCTV is operated at the entrances to the car parks. Electric cars may be charged in the farmyard by arrangement in advance, subject to a charge, provided the car's owner provides the suitable adaptor. Electric car charging facility in Llandovery car park (5 miles). Late departure (after 9.30 a.m.) will incur a charge of £30 per hour, payable through Airbnb. Your cottage is checked before your arrival and every effort is made to ensure all amenities are in working order. However occasionally things break down or go missing. A replacement or repair may not be instantly possible. Every effort will be made to correct the issue asap but if a repair or replacement is required this may take time. In such instances no refund or compensation will be made. Reports made after departure are not countenanced. The space should be left clean and tidy, as it is when you arrive. If it is not, the host reserves the right, at his own discretion, to charge the lead guest through Airbnb the cost of repairing damage or excess cleaning to the property or hot tub. For their enjoyment and well-being, guests are required to adhere to our house rules, including those pertaining to hot tub use.
