Large Room in Boujee Beach House (Woodbine Beach)

We're long-standing Superhosts but after a 2-year COVID hiatus and renovations, we're back! The Boujee Beach home is nestled in the very family/dog-friendly, Pleasantville community in Toronto's infamous Beaches. The AirBnB bedrooms and shared bathroom are on a dedicated floor for guests, furnished with a new Queen bed, TV, Amazon Firestick (Movies, Netflix, YouTube, etc) mirrored closet, ceiling fan and a smart bedroom lock in a SHARED setting with me, my partner and our friendly dog, Mango. The space Guests are provided with a dedicated floor for guests in our shared home listing! You may share the space with other AirBnB guest(s) on the dedicated floor (common areas, kitchen, bathroom, staircase and Laundry Room); however, the home, especially the kitchen, is quite large that it feels like you're renting an entire home, even though it's only a SHARED AirBnB listing. My partner, 2-year-old, super-friendly-medium-sized dog, Mango (yellow lab/retriever) and I use the common staircase to get to and from the Master bedroom above the AirBnB floor but we're very quiet, so you may not even notice we're there. Mango is practically mute and barks when someone comes into the house but don't be discouraged, Mango is one of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet and beginning training as a Therapy dog! Our home has undergone major renovations, where all of the outside has been fully redone with gorgeous new paint, hardscaping and an absolutely stunning and flourishing garden. The inside has been fully renovated on the first floor, the kitchen and AirBnB bathroom are touch-activated and we even upgraded the AirBnB bathroom on the AirBnB floor which looks like something out of a high-end Home & Garden magazine! That newly renovated bathroom, with automatic lights/exhaust fan that turn on and off so you don't have to fiddle with the light switches, has a futuristic toilet on the AirBnB floor has a brand-new bidet/washlet. After going to Japan twice, we decided that we must have them in our home and boy do we love them but you don't need to use them if you don't want to. The wall-hung toilet with wall-mounted flusher acts just like a regular toilet. High-speed Internet/Wi-Fi is accessible in and around the entire house, thanks to the fastest internet package at Bell, so you will always remain connected. There's Netflix, BellTV app, as well as, other TV/Movie apps all FREE for you to use in the bedroom or kitchen. The large kitchen is fully yours to use, including a dedicated clean fridge for guests, with a fresh clean water filter, softened water (with potassium and not salt) and of course, beautiful front and back yards for you to enjoy. We are still wrapping up the kitchen patio so please refrain from using it until the glass railings are complete. There are security cameras OUTSIDE of the house in all areas but fully respect your privacy, so there are only cameras in restricted areas INDOORS (utility room, garage, Master bedroom) for liability purposes. We live right across the street from the beautiful Woodbine Beach and one of the city's largest/cleanest FREE outdoor pools, Donald D. Summerville Olympic Pools! There are so many restaurants, pubs, bars, shops, etc., including quick access to TTC streetcars, buses and subway stations. The commute to the city is a mere 40 mins to the downtown core by TTC, 30 minutes by bicycle, and 8 minutes by car and you return to a safe, quiet, family-friendly community in Pleasantville in the renowned, Toronto Beaches! Guest access Registered guests are welcome to use the Kitchen, Dining Room, Backyard and of course the dedicated AirBnB floor. Unfortunately, the front veranda off the kitchen is currently being renovated but should be completed before the end of 2024! Although the Top Floor (Master Bedroom), Bottom Floor (workspace) and Garage are RESTRICTED from AirBnB guests, given the amount of space you're provided, especially a dedicated floor to yourselves, you won't feel cramped! Guests enter through the Back Door, accessed through the backyard and are discouraged from using the red Front Door, as this accesses a restricted area of the house. The Back Door will be the main door to use to enter and exit the house. Unfortunately, unregistered guests/visitors are not permitted to enter the property at any time for insurance and liability reasons and as per AirBnB policies. During your stay All communication can be done directly through the AirBnB app or in person for face to face discussions (when Stephen is on-site). Although the space is shared with my partner, dog, me and other guests/tenants, you may or may not see us floating around. We are typically very preoccupied with cleaning, organizing, renovating or running my home business on the bottom floor. However, I am always reachable and can reappear whenever you need me, so you can enjoy the home as if you were staying in this enormous home yourselves, despite the shared home listing. Feel free to adopt Mango while you stay as she is truly one of the best of the best dogs you'll ever meet! Super friendly, cuddly but will bark once the doorbell rings or someone comes through the door and then after that will remain a mute. We will do our best to keep her out of your way, unless you'd prefer more interaction with her and will not be offended one way or another but have to remember that a dog does live on site and may bark from time to time. However, has never been an issue with past guests, neighbours or delivery folks! Other things to note Unfortunately, the veranda off the kitchen is currently undergoing renovations but should be completed before the end of 2024! We may have things for you to borrow, like a volleyball, soccerball or life jackets, etc. If there's something you need, please don't hesitate to ask! The share bathroom lighting system is automatic so just walk in and the lights turn on. When you're done, simply walk out and leave the door open so others know it's available and the lights will go of automatically! The kitchen and main bathroom faucets are touch activated so when your hands are full, simply touch any part of the faucet to turn it on or off.
