Whitby woodland romantic luxury log cabin

Our secluded log cabin has breathtaking views, yet is two miles from Whitby. It is atmospheric but equipped for comfort and convenience. It is one of just three bespoke cabins all nestled in separate parts of our private woodland. The outlook is totally private and it has a spacious terrace with chiminea and outdoor seating. The space In the North York Moors National Park, Valley View log cabin has an unrivalled situation with a totally private outlook. From the spacious terrace there is an unbroken view of the stream and valley beyond. We have recently refurbished this cabin to offer luxury accommodation for couples. There is just one bedroom and a luxury bathroom. Although Valley View is traditionally styled with a log burner, there is also central heating for total comfort . A newly fitted, good sized kitchenette has gas rings, a microwave and grill, airfryer and a fridge freezer. There is a breakfast bar and a spacious seating/ relaxation area with TV and DVD player. As well as the large terrace outside there is a covered area with fairy lights and benches. All bedding and towels are provided. There is generous parking for one car about 50 metres away (up a hill). The site is best suited to the able bodied. Guest access You have full use of the cabin and the woodland which surrounds it during your stay. This includes access to the stream and waterfall. There are two other cabins on site in separate areas of the woodland. Other things to note Parking on site is limited, and we only allow for one car per booking. If you do need to bring a second car please inform us in advance and we will try to make arrangements. We are off the beaten track and while the access is good it is not suitable for some low slung cars or nervous drivers. Our site is a wildlife haven and we do everything we can to provide a safe environment for our birdlife in particular. For this reason we no longer advertise as dog friendly. We are a secluded site, at the end of a single track road. Parking is at the top of the site with approach to the cabin down a slope via an all-weather wood chip path. The path is lit and night and there are steps with a handrail.
