Central Morzine apartment

A spacious flat, that is our year round home and we rent only occasionally when we go away. It is one of just two apartments in a stand alone chalet, 10 minutes walk from the village centre. There is one large double bedroom, a spacious bathroom, kitchen and lounge with a comfortable double sofa bed and wood burning stove. The space A spacious 75m2 apartment with two double glass doors from both the kitchen and lounge that access a wraparound terrace with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and steps down into our garden. You can even watch the weekly firework display on Pleney from the comfort of the apartment! UK satellite TV in the lounge and internet access throughout. The living area is comfortable and homely and was fully renovated in late 2022. The squishy leather sofa is an inviting place to rest after a long day on the slopes, and converts in seconds into a bed, with a 140cm wide / 12cm thick mattress. A couple of design classics (a George Nelson wall clock and Ingmar Relling chair & footstool, along with a handmade Sweet Mango cabinet) complete the feel. You’ll also find an extendable dining table with 6 seats. There is a wood burner and supply of logs. The kitchen was replaced in 2016, and is fully equipped with fridge freezer, oven and hobs plus kettle and toaster. There is also a bar table with four stools. You’ll find plenty of basics we’ll leave behind that you are welcome to use. The supermarket is just over five minutes walk away. The bedroom is spacious and recently renovated and carpeted. There's a large fitted wardrobe, and we will clear out one side to leave space for your gear. More double doors lead out onto the wraparound balcony. Linen and towels are included in the rental. The bathroom was fully renovated in 2021, to a modern clean look bathroom. There is a full size bath with rain shower. A large private hallway as you enter the apartment has plenty of space for coats and shoes. The garage has storage space and hooks for all your equipment, and a handy drying room. There is also a washing machine that is available for use. Please be aware this space is shared with renters in the upstairs apartment. We can also help advise on ski hire, babysitting or nanny services and recommend restaurants or anything else you need. Guest access You will have access to the full apartment and balconies on the ground floor. You also have access to the garage which is shared with the upper apartment. The garage can be used for storing skis, bikes or other equipment. And also serves as a luggage storage space (and occasionally changing area!) for any early arrivals/late departs.
