At the entrance of the road is a 9 hole golf course and a bar/restaurant. Lake Bomoseen is an 11 mile lake home to many ski, wake surfing, and fishing boats. In the early morning don't be surprised if you see a fisherman or too in the cove trying to access the best fishing spots on the lake. Lake Bomoseen has a full service Marina where you can rent ski, pontoon, and non-motorized boats. There are the 3 main restaurants/bars on Lake Bomoseen all with boat access. The closest downtown is Castleton, home of Castleton University. There are many country stores, and restaurants. There is a small grocery store for basic needs less than 10 minutes from Red Sails and larger grocery stores within 20 minutes. Okemo and Killington mountain are about 40 miles away, and have great mountain biking and hiking trails as well as music, food, and art festivals in the summer Minimum summer stay 4 nights. $500 Security Deposit.
