Glamping is the perfect blend of glamour and camping, where nature meets modern luxury. Nestled on large circular timber platforms, our three tepee sites are connected by wooden walkways, elevated above lush rushes and grasses on our 1.1-hectare property. Surrounded by pine and native trees, the setting of our tepees invites you to unwind, unplug, and reconnect with nature—a true glamping experience. The space Our off-grid tents are designed with comfort in mind, featuring quality beds, cozy duvets, pillows, and cotton linens, along with shower towels. Each tent is equipped with a small camping torch, a power bank for charging devices, and fairy lights. Each tepee comes with a small front porch equipped with deck chairs, perfect for relaxing outdoors and stargazing under the night sky. A shared outdoor lounge is located a short stroll away from the tepees, along the solar lit path. Surrounded by native flax and trees, this space features a picnic table, an outdoor lounge suite, and a fire pit- ideal for roasting marshmallows under the stars. This listing is for Tepee #2. This tepee is ideal for two friends, equipped with two single beds. If you’re a couple, we can push the beds together, but our other two tepees offer a double/queen-size bed, which may be a better option for couples if available. Let us know your preferred sleeping arrangement! Guest access The tepees are located on our private property, where we live on-site. Please note that the car parking area, bathroom, and outdoor lounge are shared facilities. We have three tepees available for rent. This means there may be other guests nearby unless all three tepees are booked exclusively by one group. Other things to note - For the best nightly rates, please book directly on our website. - We provide a contactless check-in and check-out process. You'll receive detailed instructions a few days before your arrival. - Our tepees are just a short two-minute walk from the car park. We recommend wearing sturdy walking shoes, as the path can be steep in places. - Be prepared for cooler weather! We suggest bringing warm clothing, such as jackets and beanies, especially if you're visiting during the colder months. While there is no heating in the tent, we provide electric blankets for your comfort. - Please note that while our tepees are waterproofed, we may need to postpone or cancel your stay in the event of heavy, prolonged rain. If this happens, we will contact you promptly. - While there are no full cooking or kitchen facilities on-site, you’ll find excellent restaurants and takeaway options nearby. - You may hear some traffic from nearby Leigh Road; however, it tends to be minimal at night. - For the privacy of guests in our glasshouse accommodation, we kindly ask that you refrain from accessing the forest area. - During the summer month Auckland Council might implement a total fire ban due to dry vegetation in which case our fireplace cannot be used while the restrictions are in place.
