Description

We live in Highgate north London and have recently resigned and redecorated our living room, have installed a newly designed main bathroom and have renovated our front garden. Highgate is one of the highest points in London with some of the largest green spaces close by. It has good transport links and numerous high quality restaurants and artisan coffee bars. Our house is light and spacious with high ceilings typical of victorian properties. Our garden and patio are secluded and tranquil. The space Large 5 floor victorian house with garden in pretty residential street in Highgate North London. We are minutes from Highgate tube and close to some of the most picturesque open spaces in London: Highgate woods, Queens wood, Hampstead Heath and Waterlow Park. Collectively they make Highgate on of the greenest and most desirable areas in London. It is also one of the highest. Our house is a typical property built in 1896, but decorated in a more contemporary & modern style. It is set on 5 half floors with a spacious and light kitchen that has a glass conservatory that opens out fully to allow you to enjoy the patio and garden fully when the weather is warm. On the ground floor we have a living room with a flat screen TV, including cable satellite. A few steps down into the kitchen we have a modern hand-built white kitchen with wooden floors. The kitchen has all the usual gadgets and appliances. We have three bedrooms and two toilets. The top floor has two bedrooms and a toilet. On floor down is the other bedroom with the toilet and bathroom a further half floor below. The patio and garden are not overlooked and it is very green and lush. Eating outside is highly recommended in the summer and is a great way to end a busy day. Overall the area is quiet and residential with some useful small shops close by for essentials. Many of the people living in our street are professional families who work in central London. It is pretty quiet during the day. We have lived here for 20 years and would not swop it for any other area in London.
