Eagleview Cottage is a peaceful getaway tucked in the trees in our 19 cabin seaside community. Walk a few minutes down to our private beach where you can play in the sand strip, beachcomb for geoducks, crabs and starfish , watch sea life or use the firepits. Explore the lakes, golf courses, trails, or walk to Bowser Village. Hike the old growth forest beside a creek right across from our cabin! NOTE: WASHER/DRYER AVAILABLE FOR LONGER THAN 5 DAYS Security doorbell disabled when guests arrive The space Eagleview Cottage has just been renovated and you will feel welcomed in our cozy space. It has 750 sq. ft. of indoor space and sits on a beautiful treed location a short walk from the ocean. The large front porch is perfect for a meal or relaxing in all weather. It’s ideal for couples and families with sleeping space for up to 6. - beautiful vaulted pine ceilings - open kitchen and living room space - quiet bedrooms are at the back of the cabin - 250 sq. ft. covered front deck with a seating area on one side, a table that seats 6, and a propane BBQ grill for the outdoor chef - large back yard for lawn games - self check-in/check-out with an automated keypad system Kitchen The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook even the largest of meals - full size fridge and stove - microwave oven - coffee maker and grinder - dishes for 8 and cutlery - plenty of pots/pans for large meals - full set of kitchen knives and other cooking utensils - kitchen table and chairs to fit 6 - 8 (if you add the leaves stored under the table) - large island with 3 stools Living Room The living room has a cozy fireplace and plenty of seating room for a midday wind down or to tuck in after sunset: - queen size sofa bed - two side chairs - flat screen smart TV - free WiFi Bathroom The bathroom includes a full sized tub, shower, and vanity. Bedrooms Both bedrooms are located at the back of the cabin and have a view of forest both beside and behind the cabin. In the adjacent trees is a protected 400 year old tree with an eagle's nest (please view from a distance, eagle's are sensitive to noise) Bedroom 1: - medium sized master bedroom near the bathroom - queen size bed - closet and dresser Bedroom 2: - medium sized second bedroom (suitable for kids or couples) - single murpy bed - easy to put up during the day - new bunk bed with double lower bunk and single upper bunk (max 150 lbs) - very large drawers - one with games and the other for your use BEACH You walk a few minutes downhill to the beach. We recommend walking to the left, there is a switchback and it is less steep. Be cautious when it is wet Guest access The whole cabin is yours to use. Entry with a keypad (provided several days before your stay) Please park as close to the cabin as you can. Park parrallel to the cabin with your vehicle pointed toward the trees. Park as close to the trees as you can so the neighbour's vehicle can back out. It's okay to park on the "grass" Other things to note We provide a pet-free environment for all guests, and smoking is not permitted inside or outside the cabin, or on the premises. Use of the facility is at your own risk If you are coming from the mainland it is recommended that you book your ferry ahead of time. Please note that as with most east coast beaches there are rocks over the sand unless it is low tide.
