Description
Light and airy, The Cottage is a converted haybarn built into the gentle slope of the hill. Downstairs there is a sunny double bedroom and a shower room, upstairs a double height open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen, dining table, sitting/tv area with far ranging views across open fields and a stable door opening out onto the back garden with outside sitting/eating area and mature apple trees. A bridlepath runs outside the window where horses and dogs roam. The space Located in a tiny hamlet, the Cottage is part of our family home and so is generously equipped, but separated from the main house by a courtyard with its own private entrance. The living area opens via a stable door, onto a lawned garden with mature apple trees and views across open fields and spectacular sunsets with direct access through 5 bar gate onto the bridle path up the side of the property. A selection of teas, coffee (ground and instant), oil, vinegar, herbs etc plus condiments and a small selection of basic groceries are provided. Fresh milk, eggs, a selection of cereals, bread, and juice is provided on arrival together with small welcome pack of crisps, biscuits and chocolate. Towels, loo rolls, shower gel, shampoo, soap and selection of toiletries are provided. Tabs are provided for washing machine and dishwasher. Travel cot and high chair available on request. A second double bedroom is available for an additional charge of £90 per night.... details on request. Guest access The back garden and orchard is accessed from the living room and available for guests to use.. A BBQ is available if required. A bridle path runs along the side of the property with peaceful walking through fields all around the cottage. Parking is on our private drive. Other things to note We have a friendly dog, two cats, one stroppy and one very sweet and two horses. There is ample parking on the driveway, and in the summer the orchard which produces fabulous apples so help yourself!
