The self contained house for two adults is light and beautifully fitted and furnished. It is well situated on the West side of Cambridge for walks or bike rides to the city centre, University Departments, Colleges, Concert Hall, Museums and theatres. Local shops and restaurants, river, park and meadows are a short walk. You are never more than a 20 minute walk in Cambridge. A ‘U’ bus links the University’s West Site to the Hospital and Biomedical Campus to the south. A great place to live. The space The house is completely independent, and is situated in the desirable and leafy area of Newnham. WiFi is available throughout. Enter through the front door into a hall leading to sitting room and kitchen. A cloakroom is off the hall. The kitchen is fully fitted and includes kettle, electric cooker and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine with dryer. An ironing board is integrated in a drawer. Iron available too! The dining table and chairs can accommodate four and is a suitable work space. Upstairs is a bedroom suitable for two adults in a double bed, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space is available. The shower room is small and well fitted. The sitting room has French Doors onto a terrace. There are two sofas for relaxing and a smart tv to watch Outside is a small terrace with bistro table and chairs for guests although the garden is private and is not for guest use. We live next door and look forward to welcoming you Guest access There is a key safe for guest convenience, Access to the apartment is on the left of the drive alongside the white wall. It’s front door is on the side facing the wall and the key safe is on the wall to its right. The external light is motion activated. There is space for a car which can be agreed by prior arrangement with the host. An additional charge may apply. Other things to note If arriving by train - the station is outside the city centre - or indeed by bus/coach then it is simplest particularly, if this is your first time in Cambridge, to take the short journey by taxi. If you prefer to walk I will send you the postcode so you can follow the route in google maps or similar
