Characterful Cotswold Retreat

Situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, our little lodge will brighten up your stay with a roll top bath, hand-painted murals and a fabulous bed crafted from Indian antique beams. Located in the pretty village of Avening, within 10 minutes drive of Tetbury and Stroud. The space The Tiny House is a handcraft, creative bolt hole. Many of the rooms have been decorated by hand with paint effects and murals. The fireplace and bed have been painted to look like Malachite, and the bathroom designed to give a feeling of being at the beach. The floor is pebbles, the walls painted with colourful fish and turtles. Breakfast is left for you, including eggs, bacon, bread, cereal. We can organise for dinner to be left for your arrival if needed and always do our best to make your stay unforgettable. There is a cosy woodburner indoors (logs can be provided), a small firepit outdoors to enjoy the views and look at the stars. There is no TV, but very good Wifi so its possible to curl up in the comfortable big bed and watch a movie after a luxurious soak in the roll top bath. Guest access The entire lodge is for guests only. There is an outside space with table, chairs, barbecue, solar umbrella and fire pit. In the summer months it is possible to eat outdoors or have a sundowner and enjoy the view. Other things to note There are lots of beautiful walks in the surrounding valleys. Locally there is a wide choice for eating out and two great pubs in the village. For the more adventurous, the historic Costwold 'city' of Cirencester can be reached in 20 minutes. Bath, Bristol and Cheltenham are all within an hour away. Everything 'Cotswold' at your fingertips
