Set in the historic village of Tretower, outside the pretty town of Crickhowell, with Norman Castle & old Manor House; beautifully located for exploring the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons, Usk Valley & the Wye Valley. The space This spot is a hit for cyclists, walkers, dog owners, families, foodies and couples needing to re-charge or engage in the array of adventurous activities available in the area. Why not take the scenic walks to the local pub for a leisurely lunch, just a pint, or nice glass of wine? There's even a small licensed cafe in the village, opposite Tretower Court. Check all opening days/times first! The cottage is intended for quiet and respectful use by families and couples, and located in a quiet cul de sac amongst neighbouring properties. Upon arriving, park your car in the private parking space (1 car only) just outside the attached cottage, and walk through the gate into your courtyard. Enter the cottage through the light and airy kitchen, equipped with shaker style oak kitchen units and farmhouse table. Further inside the cottage, you will find the spacious and characterful living room, with 2 large saddle leather sofas set in front of the smart TV and log burner, just waiting for you to kick back and relax and feel the history of the place. There’s also a large oak dining table, suitable for the family or a romantic dinner for two. Upstairs you will find a peaceful twin bedroom, a cosy double bedroom, and a playroom with a sofa, and a DVD player. The upstairs bathroom benefits from a bath and an electric Mira shower, whilst there is a further WC downstairs. Guest access The allocated car parking space is on the driveway that is shared with the cottage owners who live next door. Accessibility: There are two steps up from the driveway and into the private courtyard,with gate, and a further two steps from the courtyard into the kitchen. From the kitchen there is a narrow hallway before entering the large lounge & dining room. From the lounge, there is one flight of stairs, in a dog leg, which become narrow at the top of the stairs and the ceiling height at the top is lower than many adults' height so caution is required. Other things to note Whilst the cottage is suitable for families with small children, it is not child-proof; parents will need to exercise caution and be aware of potential hazards
