Parking Old Granary Cottage is situated on a former 136 acre working farm, it was converted from a grain barn to a cottage in the 1970s. A dedicated private car port (right hand side) was also created at the same time which remains a valuable and nostalgic part of the property. It is conveniently situated for access to the rear courtyard and cottage front door. We have modified the car port to make it as accessible as possible for modern wider cars, whilst maintaining its sturdy structure and original character. We have had Range Rovers, Ravs, Audis, parking in the car port with no problems. We also have private parking available on a grass verge next to the car port if preferred. North Buckland is a picturesque hamlet nestled within a tranquil valley set in the middle of The North Devon National Landscape/Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. World Surf Reserve Putsborough Beach, Croyde Bay, Woolacombe Beach and Saunton Sands are within a 15 minute drive. Local trails, woodland, Braunton Burrows, The South West Coast Path, Exmoor and much more are within easy reach. Guest access Guests have shared access to our rear garden and courtyard outside the cottages. The garden offers beautiful panoramic views of the rolling Devonshire countryside. Other things to note Please note our car ports are narrower than today’s, as they were built in the ‘70s. However most cars do fit. If you have a larger vehicle you can park on the grass verge next to the right-hand car port. A stair guard is provided but please note the property is not fully child-proofed and children should be supervised at all times.
