With hardwood floors and a beautiful mix of industrial and vintage decor, the Setter Haus is a fully renovated 4-bedroom house centrally located to Purina Farms, WashMo, wine country, and St. Louis. Ideal for a stay in the Show Me state, the Setter Haus hosts business travelers, solo travelers, dog show competitors, and couples looking to enjoy the greater St. Louis area. THE SPACE The Setter Haus has an open living, dining, and kitchen area, and 4 bedrooms with a queen sized bed in each. Full bathroom located in the hallway with washer and dryer and a second bathroom with shower in the lower level. Only 10 minutes to the Purina Events Center, the Setter Haus is popular with guests competing at events held throughout the year. THE BEDROOMS With crisp white linens and a deliciously comfortable queen bed in each bedroom, your sleep is high priority at the Setter Haus. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level and 2 bedrooms in the lower level. *Note that the ceiling in the lower level is a low ceiling. PEACEFUL RETREAT The Setter Haus was created as a retreat of peace and relaxation while you are in the area. Whether you are here for business, exploring Missouri parks and wine country, biking the Katy Trail, or visiting family for a wedding or holiday, the Setter Haus will be your place to rejuvenate. LIVING AREA The living area features an incredibly gorgeous area rug that you want to dig your toes into when you sit back to catch up on your Netflix series. The Roku smart TV has streaming as well as Dish Sling, YouTube, Spotify, and more. *Note that you will need to have your own Netflix, Hulu, Dish. etc. accounts to access those features as we do not share our accounts with you.* The couch is also a luxury king size sofa sleeper by Luonto. KITCHEN Fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave as well as several small appliances that you can't live without (i.e. Keurig, regular coffeemaker, teapot). The Setter Haus is equipped with white place settings, solid flatware, and sleek glassware, as well as wine glasses for relaxing. BATHROOMS The clean, well lit bathroom is located in the hall and contains a stacked washer and dryer. Plush towels await you when you step out of the shower. The second bathroom is in the lower level and has a shower. FRONT PORCH AND YARD A newly landscaped front walk and front porch welcome you to enjoy a cup of morning coffee or relax in the evening with local beer or wine while Fido plays in the yard. PETS A family dog or two are welcome to come with you, but only with prior approval. Please note that the county requires that you keep your dog on a leash outside and clean up the poo. There is a $25/night pet fee plus tax per dog. If you are coming for competition at Purina Events Center, please contact us for approval of multiple dogs and a special dog rate. NEIGHBORS The Setter Haus shares the gravel drive and acreage with our Fox Haus and Hound Haus. You will see the other two homes nearby. Have friends with you? The owner's locked storage closet on the main level and locked storage area in the lower level are not available to guests. RESERVATION NOTES - Pre-approved dogs only, dog rate is $25/nt per dog - If competing at Purina Farms, please inquire about the Purina Farms dog rate; we do allow multiple competition dogs - Rate is based on 4 people, there is a $20 per night / per person fee for additional guests - 2 night minimum on the weekends - Local tax and cleaning are additional - Drivers license will be required with our signed guest agreement after you book The main and lower levels and the entire yard is all yours to enjoy. The locked storage closet on the main level and the locked storage area in the lower level are not accessible to guests. We communicate with guests by phone, text, and email. We live a couple towns over and travel often, but our Guest Experience Manager is available as well. If you need anything, simply let us know. Setter Haus is located on a residential street with easy access to Hwy 100 that connects Washington to I-44. Please be respectful of the neighbors and feel free to wave "Hi" to them.
