The space The front door opens from the flower-filled piazza into a lovely beamed hall with a large brick arch separating the kitchen from the living room. On one side is an open fireplace and, in a spacious kitchen, a dining table that opens to double its size; on the other, the living room furnishings are enhanced by wicker seating, a settee, an unusual red-lacquered Tuscan chest of drawers and an arched window. Stairs from the centre of this room lead to the first floor, which has a bathroom, a twin bedroom and a double bedroom with a private terrace overlooking the owners' garden. Guests have a reserved spot in the pretty little piazza near the main entrance for al fresco dining. Guest access Guests have their own parking space and entrance, separate from the owners' villa. While you enjoy your holiday, 100 metres away, exquisite wines are slowly moving and maturing in oak barrels in the ancient cellars beneath the villa, lovingly tended as they have been for centuries. A visit to the cellars is a great way to cool off, as the natural temperature fluctuates between 12 degrees in winter and 18 degrees in midsummer, all determined by the construction of the ancient cellars themselves. Travelling from Lornano is a constant pleasure along picturesque roads. These three houses are private enough to rent separately, while if rented by a group, there is plenty of space for everyone to meet together.
