About this Home: This private one-bedroom master suite is located in a quiet neighborhood, just 5 minutes from downtown Sebastopol. Enter in the back of the house through double french doors into a large bedroom with attached private bathroom. Close to wineries and bike trail, just 50 miles from the Golden Gate Bridge. Extras: Ask for anything you might need in advance & I am happy to assist. We can work out use of the laundry or BBQ if requested. Picnic baskets or beach towels also available. The space You’ll enjoy an extra large room with double skylights. A private bathroom is connected with heated bathroom floor to warm up the floor tile. A large shower & double sinks complete the bathroom. In 2022, I have recently added a new "barn" style door between the bedroom & bath for added privacy. There is a mini refrigerator and toaster oven for your use. I provide coffee & tea fixings as well as oatmeal, fresh fruit & yogurt in the room for a light breakfast. Outside of the french doors has a section of the patio to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or morning coffee. *This master bedroom suite shares one wall with the main house. Does not include kitchenette. Similar to a hotel room - the room is not set-up nor allows cooking within the room. *I have Arlo security cameras outside to monitor the property surrounding my home. (City of Sebastopol Business License #640) Guest access The backyard is a shared space. Guests have two chairs and a small table ideal to sit outside with morning coffee or evening wine & snacks. I am happy to share my backyard BBQ on request for grilling. *Attention: This space might not be appropriate for guests with mobility challenges as the walkway is uneven and garden like. I have a unique space and do not have railings at the room entrance or grab bars either by the doors or in the bathroom. During your stay If you are feeling social, I am always happy to suggest places to visit or some of my favorite places to have a meal. I also understand people like privacy & retreat time if that if your preference. I was raised in the area and can make recommendations to local spots all over this area as well as around all of Sonoma County. Other things to note I currently am in the process of building an ADU on the side yard, opposite side from the Master Suite bedroom that I offer for stays on AirBnb. Currently the construction is considered "light" and only includes some limited noise from hammers, shop-vac and occasional saws during the daytime during work hours. To date- each guest has shared with me that it has not been a disturbance. If you plan to spend a large amount of time in the bedroom during the day -this activity might disturb you if you are noise sensitive. On a personal level: I am an empty nester with grown kids who visit but live away from home. I have a large home that I am excited to share with you while you visit Sebastopol for business or pleasure.
