The space 🌊 Listing overview Welcome to LAMENERE, the southernmost village in France 🌿 Nestled on the banks of a river, this cabin offers a unique getaway in the heart of nature, perfect for recharging and reconnecting with what matters most. Located in the Haut-Vallespir, it offers an authentic experience, far from the hustle and bustle, while still being close to the sea and Spain. 🏡 The accommodation (approximately 30 m²) The cabin consists of: A fully equipped kitchen: electric stovetop, electric oven, top-fridge, electric coffee maker, kettle, and toaster A living space with a pull-out sofa bed, table, and chairs One bedroom with a double bed (sheets provided) A shower (towels not provided) Outside, there is a terrace with a river view, equipped with a table, garden chairs, and a barbecue (charcoal not included) 🌿 The garden is also available for you to relax: deckchairs, a hammock, and sun loungers are provided. In the evening, you can admire Vallespir’s exceptional starry sky ✨ 🌿 How it works and amenities The accommodation is heated by a wood-burning fireplace, which is an integral part of the property’s rustic experience (but there is also central heating). A contribution to the electricity bill is requested based on your consumption. Wi-Fi is not available in the cabin, but 4G works very well. 🚿 Composting toilets As an eco-friendly choice, the toilets are dry and located in an adjoining cabin, with outside access. This approach helps to limit the environmental impact and to live in harmony with nature. 🌊 Hot tub A one-hour hot tub session is included in the rental price (for adults and children over 12 years old), subject to availability. Please let us know in advance so we can schedule a time slot. 4 Additional sessions are available at a cost of €20. 🌿 For whom? This place is for guests seeking tranquility, nature, and authenticity: hiking, swimming in the river, wildlife watching, or simply rest and relaxation. It will not be suitable for people looking for standard modern comforts or a permanent internet connection. 🌿 Environment and activities Natural swimming pools accessible directly from the property 🌊 Hikes starting from the chalet (books and itineraries available) Nearby mountain bike trails Spain is about 20 km away via the Col d’Ares: Beget, Figueres (Dalí Museum), Cadaqués, Barcelona 🌿 Nature and seasons The venue changes with the seasons: Blooming spring, refreshing summer by the river, autumn with warm colors, calm and rejuvenating winter, sometimes with snow ❄️ The local wildlife is rich and varied: deer, foxes, wild boar, badgers, otters, and more.
