We regret that this apartment is not suitable for guests with children under 8 years old due to noise that affects downstairs neighbours. It is light and spacious with all mod cons, beautifully furnished and functional, less than 5 minutes walk from the centre of Interlaken. The apartment is on the top floor of our very old chalet, set in a beautiful large garden with guest access, perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The apartment also has a lovely balcony with mountain views. The space The apartment is open plan, with a modern kitchen, fully equipped with dishwasher, oven and toaster, a lovely dining area and a spacious sunny living area with double pull out sofa bed. The bedroom has a queensize bed and amazing views onto the Harder Kulm. Separate bathroom with toilet and shower. This apartment is not suitable for people with children under 6 years old due to noise levels in this 100 year old house. Guest access Guests access the apartment via a common stairwell that is shared with the downstairs apartment, this is also advertised on Air Bnb and you will probably meet these guests during your stay. The apartment has its own landing and separate enterance. The laundry room with washer only is on the ground floor, and the garden is also shared with the other apartment and myself. We live on the ground floor. Guests are most welcome to use the garden and gas BBQ. Other things to note Please note that in the Canton of Bern a tourist tax of 4.50 chf per person per night is applicable to all guests ( children under 6 are exempt) We will collect this tax manually by leaving an envelope with the amount due for you to pay in cash. The apartment is situated in our very old Chalet style house. (100 years old) while the apartment is very new and recently renovated, the common stairs and landings are still very old and we ask that you respect the guests in the other apartments by walking quietly up the stairs and avoid slamming doors. Noise laws in Switzerland require us to be quiet outside ( in the garden) after 10 pm. THIS APARTMENT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 8 YEARS OLD. The house is over one hundred years old and there is an apartment below with a baby.
