Luxurious and stylishly converted hideaway for two. This romantic retreat is set in a peaceful rural location, just a five minute walk from the centre of the village. The emperor bed, roll top cast iron bath, inglenook fireplace with cosy log burner and window seat provide the ingredients for a relaxing and memorable holiday. As we’re in a lovely countryside setting, you may spot some of our little neighbours such as spiders or other harmless insects who also enjoy the peace and quiet here. The space The barn is on one level and the living area has an open plan layout with fully equipped kitchen, dining table, large comfortable sofa and wing back chair. There is a beautiful inglenook fireplace with log burner perfect for relaxing in front of after a long walk whilst enjoying your favourite film or box set on the Smart TV. A basket of logs and kindling is included. The spacious yet cosy bedroom has a huge emperor bed dressed with luxury cotton bed linen and a large antique wardrobe with plenty of space for all your clothes. The luxurious en suite bathroom has a generous sized walk in shower as well as a roll top slipper bath and vintage washstand with lovely copper basin. Outside is a private paved south facing garden with seating and a table to enjoy a morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening. Sun loungers and barbecue are also available. The cottage has tiled flooring in parts which can be a bit cold under foot so if you have room to pack slippers we would recommend bringing them along. Book 7 nights for our special weekly rates. Parking for two cars beside the barn. Muddy boots and bicycles can be stored in the bin store next to the cottage. Please note there is no lock on the door but we are in a tucked away location. We ask that you don't take bicycles into the barn. Access is quarter of a mile down a farm track it's a little bumpy in parts and fine for all but the lowest of cars.
