The Heavenly gondola is right next door. The Stateline casino strip, for the best night life in Tahoe, is only 2 blocks away. Lakeside Beach is also within walking distance. Marriott is next to the South Lake Tahoe Transit Center which has bus/shuttle transportation to many locations around the lake including most of the major ski resorts. Marriott will charge you the $111 (in 2024) cleaning fee at check out. This is your only additional fee. Valet parking is free, saving you $35/day. This is the only parking that Marriott has.
