Your rate is based on 2 people sharing a single bedroom. If your party of 2 requires both bedrooms, you are charged an additional one-time fee of $35 that is collected separately from your quoted rate. The additional fee is to cover maintenance and laundry for the second bedroom. A maximum of 4 guests is allowed per reservation and the second bedroom is automatically reserved for persons 3 and 4. Other things to note Hearst Castle is only 6 miles north of Cambria and offers tours daily. Just north of San Simeon, you can view the elephant seals that migrate here. You can also see the herds of zebra that live nearby and now consider the grounds of Hearst Castle their home. (I still scream like a child every time I see them.) If you're into wine tasting, you can do some tasting right in town, or drive east 20 minutes to experience some of the best wines on the central coast.
