A large house where charm and comfort blend delightfully. Stay for 4 adults or 5 people if adults and children. The space The cottage is intended for a maximum of 4 adults, to ensure better sleeping comfort; if a fifth adult is accepted, there is an increase in the cost. The cottage is intended for 5 people when there are adults and children. Here, parents are happy to see their children play safely in the large enclosed courtyard, under the covered terrace and also, with their permission, near the small river. Those who like walking have quick access to several hiking trails. Spending a week here is a great opportunity to explore the area: wooded hills, small villages of Beaujolais Vert, open-air markets, typical restaurants, fun activities at Lac des Sapins, famous Beaujolais cellars, nearby vineyards, etc. The Louis Buffin house was labeled Gite de France for about ten years and the ratings have always been 5 out of 5 for hospitality, cleanliness, value for money and comfort. This cottage is officially classified as 3-star furnished tourist accommodation. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the following spaces: On the ground floor: entrance hall and storage space for bicycles, strollers, etc. Upstairs: large bright and friendly living room (38 m2) with sitting area, dining area with large table, well-equipped kitchen area; two bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 single beds and a bunk bed); bathroom: toilet, sink, shower and washing machine. Large enclosed courtyard, most of which (310 m2) is reserved exclusively for the cottage, with lawn area and large covered terrace with garden furniture, swings, ping-pong table and badminton; secure access to the small river and its shaded terrace overlooking the meadows and Douglas firs. Other things to note --For sleeping, the maximum capacity is set at 4 adults. If there is a baby or child, it is fine for 5 people (baby or child included); the superimposed extra bed is quite adequate. --Even if (so far) there are no mosquitoes in Chapoton, all windows are equipped with roll-down mosquito nets so as not to be disturbed by flies or moths. --From the beginning of the night, a sentinel lights up automatically when you go through the gate or leave the cottage. -- For the atmosphere, a wood-burning stove with visible fire. --A whole wall of the living room is nicely occupied by a series of large closets. In the first, a microwave oven takes place next to glasses and plates; there is also room to store provisions, just like in the second cupboard where appliances are placed. In the third: a wardrobe where the ironing board and iron are available. What about the door at the other end? It gives access to the bedroom with three single beds. --- This is a secondary residence that the owners sometimes make available for rent between early May and early November.
