King Edward's Studio.

Tastefully furnished and recently refurbished separate studio apartment with a garden view that backs on to an kiwifruit orchard. It is the perfect place to start your journey to the gorgeous Abel Tasman National Park as well as Golden Bay and of course biking the Great Taste Trail, Motueka is also the perfect place to end your awesome escape to nature. The space The fully equipped studio is located at the back of our property overlooking our garden and backing onto a massive kiwifruit orchard. The studio features a queen-sized bed, its own fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, bathroom, television and washing machine and heat pump (reverse cycle air conditioning). We also hope our guests will help themselves to tea and the Nespresso coffee machine at their leisure. You are also more than welcome to use our clothes line and there is also a BBQ that you are more than welcome to use. Your accommodation is located approx. 1.5 km from the Motueka township. A 15 min. drive to the amazing golden sand at Kaiteriteri Beach & a 25 min. drive to Marahau both of which are the beginning of Abel Tasman National Park. Depending on what is on your agenda you will start at either Kaiteriteri or Marahau, for your walking trips, pick up a aqua shuttle to take you further into the park, kayaking, mountain biking or just taking a leisurely cruise. If you are into bicycling, the Great Taste Trail is great for seeing parts of the region not seen from the road, you will ride close to the coast, thru farms and past vineyards that often have cellar doors and restaurants. We are also 500 metres down the road from the Nelson Aviation College and Motueka airport. Guest access Separate from the main house, we are pleased to be able to offer our private studio apartment It has a private entrance and off-street parking. Other things to note We don't smoke, but don't mind if you do - as long as it's away from the house and doorways! We have a fair amount of local knowledge, and what we don’t know we will certainly try and find out for you. We also have a cat (Baggins) who do have free access to roam the property (not your studio however), Baggins is choosey about the people he likes to introduce himself too! Please don't feel rejected or hurt if he doesn't make himself known to you - it's a cat thing! If he does introduce himself and he starts to be a nuisance please shoo them him away or let us know.
