"All the Nights at the Museum Inn"
Description
Our large log cabin, Pax Bay Inn, is located in Pyhälahdenjärvi, Finland, on the shore of Keitele on a hectare plot. The cottage has ten large rooms, a sauna, a barbecue and a boathouse. Here you can feel the scents of the 1930s-50s, enjoy nature and retreat. The space Pax Bay Inn was originally built as a folk school. The logs of the building were felled before the war, but were not erected until after the war. The location is on the border of the historic Pähkinäsaari peace (1323) and the Natura 2000 shore protection area. The nature trail leads to the Ahvenisenlammen swamp. Behind Loukkuniemi is Rokkavuori and in Listonniemi is the UNESCO World Heritage Site Struve Geodetic Arc point at 212 m high Naakelinmäki. Bird towers can be found in nearby Pyhäjärvi, which is a resting place and breeding area for migratory waterfowl. Guest access The cottage can be reached from the four-way road. Near Äänekoski, turn onto Mierontie road number 69. Pyhälahden mökkitie can be reached from Summaiset and Konnevesi. Other things to note PAX BAY INN – PYHÄLÄHTE FOLK SCHOOL
