Tamlli Gite, family room in rural hotel

We welcome all travelers to Morocco to join us in our palm oasis with stunning views of the mountains, authentic Berber tradition in the peaceful rural village of Aoufous. We love to take trekking groups in the mountains, visit the nomads, see the desert dunes, ancient villages and experience our rural Moroccan life. Aoufous is 80 km north of Merzouga, towards Errachidia. The space Our gite was built in 2012, it was built in the purest tradition of local houses, that is to say earth and straw, which gives it a very comfortable indoor temperature, it is what is called "natural air conditioning", it has all the modern comforts. The beams are made of palm wood painted with natural pigments, a common space, it has a thatched roof, typical too. The rooms are large, well equipped and from the balconies the view is breathtaking, you can admire the sky filled with stars at night, as if you could touch them and where the light of the sky is specific to this region, in the middle of the night the sky is an intense blue. Berber festivals are organized in the village very frequently where many relatives and friends gather. A garden planted with palm trees of course, a nice terrace and a "reflection" room await you. Guest access Our cottage is completely open to our customers, from the kitchen to the garden. Depending on the season, it is possible to eat the products of the garden and from the rooms to eat the grapes that run above the terraces of each room. A family garden means that we meet our needs mostly with typical foods. Other things to note It is important to respect the privacy of individuals, especially women, in areas such as photographs and recordings. You also have a network of collaborators for any activity you want to do, trekking in the mountains, visits to the bivouac in the desert with the nomads, etc.
