Description
The Hideaway @ Woodlands Farm Welcome to our family home at Woodlands Farm! Set in 45 acres of beautiful Cornish countryside, The Hideaway is attached to our main farmhouse. It has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and an open kitchen/lounge area with sofa bed. It also has it's own outside space - an enclosed decking area. Just 2.5 miles from the beautiful Lanhydrock, and 4 miles from Cardinham woods. Conveniently located for great access to Cornwall's North & South Coast beaches and other attractions. The space The Hideaway is a cosy space, ideal for single people, couples, friends or young families. Great location for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer. Brilliant walking available on site and nearby. Free WIFI throughout. Please note that the sleeping accommodation is more suited 2 adults plus 1/2 smaller /younger children. In addition to the king size bed, there is a decent sized sofabed in the lounge. An extra baby cot can be provided. Please note the bedroom is fairly narrow so access to the bed from each side is limited, as can be seen in the bedroom photograph. The hideaway also has a large smart TV in the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and a slimline dishwasher. The bathroom has a compact bath with separate shower. There is also a fold out dining table with chairs. We are very child friendly here! If required we can provide a cot, booster seat, highchair, toys and any other baby/toddler/child things you might need - please just feel free to ask! We also have a trampoline and climbing frame in our garden that you are welcome to explore and share with our own children. The hideaway has it's own outside decked area with outdoor seating and a toddler/young child's playhouse. You are welcome to access our private farmland but please check with us first so we can help you to avoid fields with livestock (cows, ponies/horses) in them! The view from the site is wonderful and we are regularly spoilt with amazing sunrises over the mist filled valley, and epic rainbows on rainy sunny days! The hideaway also has a folder containing local information and attractions, as well as important contacts (e.g. GP, local hospitals etc) SOME IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE BEFORE BOOKING: 1. We will do our best to get it right for you so please do ask if you need anything and we welcome constructive feedback at all times. We would really appreciate it if you talk to us first if you are unhappy with anything. 2. The ceilings in The Hideaway are very low in places due to parts of the building being over 300 years old! If you are over 6ft tall you may find you have to 'duck' quite a bit! If you feel this is going to be a major difficulty, you might wish to explore alternative options. 3. The Hideaway joins onto our family home and we have 3 young children. They can at times be noisy, playful, cheeky and emotional! There may be times when you hear our family going about our daily life, however we do spend most of our time in rooms that do not directly adjoin The Hideaway. If you feel this may be a problem for you, we would again suggest you consider alternative options. 4. No pets please. We may agree to pets under exceptional circumstances but we will require a surcharge to cover additional cleaning and fur/hair removal.
