Spacious two bedroom country property

Granary Lodge is situated on a quiet lane, yet less than two miles from Thirsk; a busy, attractive market town. It is spacious with a large lounge, kitchen, a double bedroom (ensuite bathroom) and a twin room. Also, a shower room with basin and toilet. Enjoy the use of your private patio seating area with views over the owners garden and pond. A larger garden area and further seating is also available for guest use. Local good pub (15 mins walk). N York Moors National Park: 15 mins drive. The space Granary Lodge has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and ensuite bathroom, the second bedroom is a twin room. There is a shower room with shower, toilet and sink. The well equipped spacious kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave and a table. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine and drier. The lounge is exceptionally large with comfortable sofas, a wood burning stove and a dining table and chairs. Games, books and DVDs are available. The local pub is highly regarded and about 15 minutes walk down a quiet lane. Thirsk is less than 2 miles away with several independent shops and good restaurants and a one screen old fashioned style cinema. If you bring bikes they can be locked outside. It takes just over 10 minutes to cycle to Thirsk, mainly via cycle paths. The North York Moors National Park is about 10 minutes drive away, the ancient walled city of York is 22 miles away with its numerous attractions and great shopping. The Yorkshire Dales are about 30 minutes drive. Other things to note There are two steps between the kitchen and the utility room, (there are secure handrails). No electric car charging available. Electric car charging facilities are available at nearby garages. Although the pond can be seen from the windows of the property and the patio area, it is not directly accessible to guests. A travel cot is available if requested, however, we don't have any cot bedding, so please bring your own baby bedding and blankets etc.
