We are close to the village of Suttons Bay. This is a picturesque old farmhouse with old world charm. Beautiful landscaping on 8 acres. We are close to Marinas, golfing, shopping, the Leelanau Trails and some of the best wineries in the world. We have everything one could ask for being in the Cherry Capitol. - You will have access to the farm house the washer/dryer that are located in the basement grill fire pit that is centrally located in the patio - We both work outside of the home, however, we will gladly assist you with anything that needs attention, or with any questions you may have. - Our place is approximately 2 miles outside of Suttons Bay where you will find several restaurants, several with outside seating, look closely as you travel down Main Street (M-22) as you will even find the restaurants among the homes still located on Main Street. We have several entities where you can indulge in your favorite spirits, some locally made. We have a grocery store located on the south side of town. Three different banks. We have an old movie theater with the best seating and acoustics. We have several parks, some located right on the beach. Two marina/boat launch areas right in town. We have churches for several denominations. You can rent bikes in the village. We are about 1 mile from one of the Leelanau Trails trail heads (parking lot parking is available at this site). We are about 1/2 mile from 2 trail crossing areas where you can park alongside the county road. - We are approximately 12 minutes from Traverse City, so you have the uniqueness of staying in the country, however, if you enjoy Malls and larger food chain stores and restaurants you are close to a bigger city. - We are approximately 1/2 hour from the Sleeping Bear National Sand Dunes (named the Most Beautiful Place in America in 2011). Kids young and old can walk the heritage trail, ride bikes on the bike trail, climb the sand dunes, swim in the local lake, or take the scenic Stocking Trail drive in your own vehicle through roads on and around the dunes. - We are about 1 mile from one of the Leelanau Trails trail heads (parking lot parking is available at this site). We are about 1/2 mile from 2 trail crossing areas where you can park alongside the county road or just ride there from our unit. - We are approximately 12 minutes from Leland (aka Fishtown), Leland features unique shopping, boat trips to the Manitou Island, a golf course and so much more. - We are approximately 20 minutes from Northport. Again you will find unique shops, restaurants, a 6 lane bowling alley (located inside Tucker's restaurant) and access to marinas and beaches. - Be sure to take M-22 along the Bay as it travels around the whole county. The views can be breathtaking. We have plenty of parking on our property. Because we are in the country having a car is a must. Our property is beautiful and relaxing. The fire pit is surrounded by a flagstone patio, great for evening fires and s'mores. The yard is large with lots of room to play. There is plenty of room for vehicles to park
