Welcome to the "Quad-P" cabin, situated on 3 acres along 400 feet of the Trinity river. Near Douglas City, CA, the cabin has a full kitchen, dining room, large living room, and generous private deck with incredible river and mountain views. Three bedrooms with either king or queen beds and two very small bedrooms with twin sized beds, three full bathrooms, comfortably sleep 6. Starlink High-speed internet, and phone use make remote work possible Electric room heaters and air conditioners The space Great star gazing, the sound of the river at night, peaceful, very private, fresh air and abundant nature, all with the conveniences of home. An excellent, lovely winery is just 3 miles away. There many wonderful hikes in the Trinity Shasta National Forest of which you may want to take advantage. Lewiston Lake 13 miles away and Trinity Lake 25 miles away are also not too far. Four generations of our family have lovingly maintained Quad-P since 1965 when our grandparents had the first pick of properties on this side of the river. The dramatically flowing Trinity River is well known for fishing, kayaking, and river rafting. You will be nestled in the beautiful nature of the Trinity Alps. Take a 5 min drive to the highway and in another 20 min you can enjoy the restaurants, shopping, museum, and conveniences of the historic gold-mining town of Weaverville, or a 25-minute drive to Lewiston Lake. Other things to note I have included photos of the bedrooms to get an idea of the sleeping accommodations. Please, please do not leave pet waste in the yard and please never throw it in the river. The river supplies water to many peoples' homes. Please use pet waste bags and deposed all pet waste in the trash. I want to allow guests to bring their pets. If you do leave pet waste in our yard, there will be an additional $35 extra charge per pet on top of the normal pet fee. We please ask you not to BBQ or have a campfire. Our forest is beautiful but dry. The fire risk is high. Thank you for understanding. Please drive slowly 10 MPH on Quad P Rd out of consideration to walkers and wild life and neighbors The river is about 3.5 feet deep but swift and strong especially as you walk towards the center. Near the bank, at the bottom of our steps to the river, there is a calmer area for wading. ALL CHILDREN SHOULD BE CAREFULLY SUPERVISED NEAR OR IN THE RIVER. Please socialize quietly after 10 PM Please take care not to put anything in front of the built in room heaters. The internet speed is very good and handles streaming video, and most remote working requirements. We have Starlink internet and since this upgrade we have been easily able to have video work calls and handle other work requirements with only rare brief loss of signal. You can cast on our HD TV your streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Discovery + and such from your phone. We have unlimited Data. Chairs for the deck are in the bathhouse.
