Both bedrooms have Smart TVs with DVD players, as does the sitting room, where resides an extensive DVD collection, plus family games, books and bluetooth speaker. All bed linen & towels are included in the rental, as well as basic provisions including tea, coffee & cereals, plus we will also provide a carton of milk, bread, butter and bottle of something fizzy! Please note - our listing does not say 'Breakfast included' - but cereals, milk, bread, butter, preserves, tea and coffee will await you in fridge or cupboards to start you off, and you have full access to the Kitchen. Hairdryer & Hair Straighteners can be found in the lower bedroom. Kitchen includes combination washer/dryer, dishwasher, iron, ironing board, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine (with capsules), toaster, kettle, oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer and plenty of glassware, cutlery, crockery and cooking implements. Other things to note A couple of 'warnings'... 1. It is an old building, with uneven floors and steps in places. The property is spread over four floors which can only be accessed by stairs, and the top bedroom has particularly steep stairs. It is all part of the charm, but might not suit everyone. 2. It is right in the bustling heart of York (Swinegate & Low Petergate), and the noises of the City can sometimes be heard into the night, especially on weekends. You will also hear the Minster bells on a Sunday morning. It doesn't bother us in the slightest, but might not suit sleepers needing complete silence.
