Open kitchen/ bar table, 1 shared full bathroom, high ceilings, hardwood floors, exposed brick walls and lots of artwork and character. Ideal if you are a people person. Rooms are private. The apartment is shared with us, and other guests. Very accesible to L, G,J, M trains to NYC in 10 minutes. The space FOR LONG TERMS ONLY (30 days or more) This is the home from Alois and Florencia. We live here, and we also work here. You will rent a private large and sunny room that includes: 1 large Queen size loft bed with sheets, pillows and duvet cover, heat, ac, 1 large window, large closet, 1 dresser, 1 table, high ceilings and hardwood floors. (You will need to go up a ladder to access your bed. There is also a twin sofa bed to relax after a long day exploring the city. The loft in the heart of trendy Williamsburg. A “home” in a great artistic community. It is ideal for travelers that are moving to NYC and need a great place to get used to the city while in search for their own place. Also if you come to NYC for work/internship/study. IT IS A QUITE AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT. NOT A PARTY PLACE! The portion of the apartment shared with other guest are: open kitchen, bar- table and full bathroom.The apartment has large ceilings, hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, lot’s of natural light, artwork and character. There are common areas like open kitchen with a shared bar table, and 1 full bathroom shared with us and other guests. The rooms are private. Very accessible to mayor L, G, J, M subways. Walking distance to stores, shops, supermarkets, laundry, Bedford Ave, Mc Carren park. Great location. All bedrooms ARE PRIVATE. As a guest you have access to a fully equipped kitchen (two ovens, toaster, manual coffee percolator, kettle, stove, fridge, microwave, kitchen supplies). Other things to note VERY IMPORTANT: NO unannounced or last minute visitors are allowed at this point: please refrain from bringing extra guests to our home. Only the guest who book the reservation are allowed at our home. KEYS: There are NO keys for the building/apartment door. You will receive a Building door code. And a cod door to enter the apartment. You will receive both codes once you are all booked and closer to your arrival. Apartment 2 F is on the second floor (up one floor and down the hallway to your left. There are 2 doors for APT#2F. You will only use one door. The other door there are NO keys available. From Building “C” go up the stairs, to the second floor, and down the hallway, it will be the first door on your left. Your room will be the middle door in the hallway (there are 3 bedroom doors in the hallway). HOT WATER: Please be aware HOT WATER IS VERY VERY HOT. Please always turn on the cold water (is always the right one) first in ALL SINKS and SHOWER and adjust to desired temp with the hot water. BOILER: The boiler is located inside the bathroom. PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THE BOILER DOOR. This is the turquoise door in the bathroom. If the boiler goes OFF and I am not in NYC, you will need to contact me and I will follow up with the landlord. APPLIANCES DURING THE SUMMER: We have AC window units. Please be mindful with usage. If you run AC all day long you will be responsible for a surcharge. We will notify you through this app and you will be billed for any extra/excess electrical bill. APARTMENT CLEANING: We have a cleaning lady, Cecilia, who will sometimes be present to greet you and open the door for you. She has access to the apartment, and when we are not home, she will come in, and clean the apartment or the rooms, as needed. She will always knock on the door first, to let you know she will be coming. She comes every week regardless and cleans common areas. Please be aware Cecilia does not have fixed days to come in, she will come when she needs to fix a room as guests arrive and/or leave. WE ONLY ACCEPT LONG TERMN STAYS : (30 days or more). Please note cleaning fee on your booking covers cleaning when you leave your room. You do not have to worry about cleaning the room at your departure. Just make sure you do not leave perishables, open fire, lights ON, appliances, etc. Cleaning is also available upon request for the duration of your stay. if you need your room to be cleaned, you can do so by scheduling a cleaning. Please check with me to provide you with Cecilia’s contact info and pricing if you need extra cleaning in your room. Otherwise ALL guests are responsible for keeping their rooms/bathroom/kitchen clean during their stay and washing all sheets, towels, etc. If any house supplies ran out, please replace accordingly (toilet paper, soap, etc). WIRELESS INTERNET: Network: will be available once you book. CHECKING OUT: Make sure the apartment door is properly closed/locked before leaving the building. Cecilia will come in to inspect the room at your departure. Please leave all sheets, towels, etc in your room. If you soiled/bleached any of our bedding please wash them immediately. Do not leave soiled sheets in the room. If stains do not come out, you will be responsible for replacing any damaged item such us sheets, covers, pillows, etc. We are NOT responsible for any personal belongings left in the room.
