This 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment combines historic charm with modern comforts: Living Room: Relax in the cozy living room with large windows overlooking the garden, two couches (one converts to a queen bed), a sitting chair, and plenty of natural light for a cheerful atmosphere. Work-from-Home Space: The garden-facing bedroom includes a desk and chair, perfect for remote work, with great natural light to keep you energized throughout the day. Kitchen: A wide galley kitchen with butcher block countertops, a dishwasher, and a custom-built breakfast nook with redwood benches. Enjoy complimentary coffee for French press or pour-over, as well as decaf tea. Bedrooms: Garden-Facing Room: A queen bed tucked into a cozy alcove, a desk for remote work, and ample natural light. Second Bedroom: A queen bed, a large armoire, and soft cotton linens with plenty of pillows. Bathroom: Tiled and fully stocked with essentials, including a hair dryer, shampoo, soap, towels, and toilet paper. Additional amenities include an in-unit washer/dryer (detergent provided) and a hallway closet with extra linens, a pack-and-play, and kid-friendly items. Outside, enjoy the prime location of Casita Azul, with easy access to Telegraph Avenue’s eateries (don’t miss Cholita Linda!), the Temescal farmer’s market, and Dover Park with its playground and urban garden. Located near major transit options, including BART and local buses, Casita Azul is perfect for exploring San Francisco, wine country, and the Bay Area. You’ll also find plenty of street parking, making it convenient for guests with vehicles. The apartment is adorned with colorful art by regional artists Melanie Cervantes, Jesus Barraza, and Cruz Ortiz, along with Mexican artisanal pieces that celebrate the vibrant local culture. Guest access WiFi is available for your use throughout your stay. If you’re traveling with small children, we can provide toys, books, dinnerware, and a pack-and-play/travel crib. Some of these items are already in the unit, and additional items can be provided upon request—just let us know in advance! Please note that as we live and work on-site in the downstairs unit, we frequently use the garden as part of our live/work space, including meeting clients for our business. Our small children also use the bedroom adjacent to the garden, so the backyard is not available for guest use.
