Travel the road less traveled! This quiet get-a-way surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest and Nantahala National Forest. We are only 45 minutes from Tellico Plains, TN . You will definitely want to bring your groceries with you! Also 45 mins but only 18 miles from Murphy, NC. A full size lower level rental w/private entrance offers a quiet solace. DO NOT DEPEND on GPS!! Not recommended for LOW CLEARNANCE CARS! Guest have full access the the lower level of the house, the creek and pond. You can also use the front yard for star gazing or maybe a game of pitch. Guest parking is also at the lower level, just a few steps to the rental entrance. Guest have full access to the basement and lower deck along with pond, creek and fire pit on the lower level of the property. Guest are also free to walk in the neighborhood. Guest can use front yard for star gazing on a clear night! I try and give my guest complete privacy. I am right up stairs if the need anything or have a question or you have requested the Breakfast that is offered with advanced notice! The Tipton Creek neighborhood has three gates. The NC gate, the TN gate and what I call the adventure gate! Inside the gates is an excellent place to walk. “The loop” is 2 miles with very few strenuous hills. I feel very safe here even though it is “off the grid” so to speak. Added mileage could include the 1 mile trek to NC or TN gate. If you really into hiking the adventure gate may be for you! You could easily hike to Beaverdam Bald if you are in for a few hours of walking and beauty! Inside the gates your automobile is your transportation unless you want to bring your golf cart, side by side, or four wheeler. Low clearance vehicles are not recommended at all. As long as are not low clearance, all wheel drive, front wheel drive and of course four wheel drive should be sufficient on the Forest Service Road and inside our community gates. There is internet and Wi-Fi calling with your cell service at the rental. The person who books the rental must be 25 yrs old and the actual person who will be in the rental, unless prior contact has been made with owner. Any damage to property by guest through accident or neglect will be paid by renter before departure through check, cash or other means. Rental is limited to five people or less. No pets are allowed. This rental is 45 minutes from the town of MURPHY, NC or TELLICO PLAINS, TN. Because we are off a forest service road the location on Airbnb makes it looks like we are close to town, we are not. We are about 18 miles (45 minutes) from Murphy and about 25 miles (45 minutes) from Tellico Plains. Because getting here mean Forest Service Roads and our Community Roads are also gravel, LOW CLEARANCE VECHICLES would be ill advised. If motorcycles come in from the Tennessee side, we would need to talk first!
