Chekkal Homestay - near Marari Beach

Chekkal Homestay is a beautiful lush abode located on the backwaters of Alleppey District a few hundred meters away from the Arabian Sea and the famous Marari beach. The house is reconstructed from a piece of an age old Tharavadu and away from the bustling tourist places. Please remember that Chekkal is a home and not a hotel. We don't have the facilities or the manpower of a hotel. It's taken care of by my grandparents. So it's important that you respect the space while you're here. The space Chekkal is reconstructed from a piece of an age old Tharavadu which gives the location an antique look and a peaceful vibe. There are two bedrooms with attached bathrooms located on the first floor. Additional mattresses can be booked upon request. The drawing room and the dining hall is located in the ground floor of the villa. Guest access The guests can access any part of the villa except the Kitchen. During your stay The hosts will be available throughout your stay and will be of help whenever required. Other things to note Guests can opt for meals at the home. Meal charges should be paid in cash to the caretaker at site. The cost of the meals will of course change if the guests need something in particular (eg: fish, prawns etc) The basic meal charges per person, per meal are as follows: Breakfast: 150 Lunch/ Dinner: Veg: 200 | Non-Veg: 300 Children above 12 years: Breakfast: 50 Lunch/Dinner: Veg: 100 | Non-Veg: 150
