Enjoy the sounds of the loons in a second floor bedroom on the lakeside of West Leaf Lake. If the weather cooperates, drink your coffee on the deck, or relax in the den reserved for your benefit. No Pets Allowed The space Our house is on West Leaf Lake, located on a dead end gravel road. Guests may have as much privacy as they would like. Some spaces are shared since we also live in the house. Continental breakfast is available. The den area has cable tv, a loveseat, a small refrigerator, a printer, a table for computer work or putting a puzzle together. Sit lakeside on the spacious deck to enjoy the water, or make use of a two person kayak. Bring your own boat and tie up to the dock. Fishing on the lake requires a Minnesota license available at local gas stations. Closest town is Ottertail which is 7 miles away. It has 2 gas stations with convenience stores, multiple restaurants, and shopping. Henning is 8 miles away and has a Dollar General, a bar, a restaurant,and a grocery store. We are 18 miles from Perham, 17 miles from Wadena, 28 miles from Battle Lake, and 30 miles from Fergus Falls. There are 3 golf courses in the area. Thumper Pond, Balmoral, and Oakwood.
