Only 15 min walk to the Derby Arms pub for great food, real ale and a shop selling a range of local produce. It also features a wood-burning stove, roll top bath, TV, utility room for storage, conservatory for dinning of up to 7 people and gigabit, fibre Wi-Fi. All fuel for stove will be provided. The cental heating is driven from the multifuel burner in the lounge, so you burn coal to heat the radiators. You'll need to be able to set and light a fire. There are clear instructions on how to do this, but if this is something you'll struggle with or you have special needs, then this place is not for you. Electric heater for conservatory in winter months. Accommodates 4 people: Bedroom with 2 single beds Bedroom with a double bed. Set in an area with lots of local walking routes and no traffic on roads, so ideal for running and cycling. I will leave a collection of maps and info on these. 15 min drive to Grizedale forest with lots of great cycling/walking and a Go Ape centre for the more adventurous. Witherslack Riding School is 5 min drive and offers a range of courses for all age and abilities. There is an A road approx 300m from the house and in busy times, you can hear the traffic from the garden, but not in the house. If this is a problem, don't book. There is also a secure utility room with sink for storage of bikes, rucksacks coats and boots. Guest access All of house, car park, utility room for storage and garden. Other things to note Although there are some public transport links, the house is set in a rural location, so you need a car to stay here.
