Peaceful rural location yet close to the town of Alcester. A cosy cottage with electric heating, off road car parking. Self catering cottage with a super king bed, bathroom (bath with mixer tap shower head) with countryside views. Ground floor kitchen/diner/lounge with TV & DVD. Electric cooker, microwave, washing machine. Wifi available. Small private, fenced garden with seating at the rear. Lovely walks in surrounding countryside and one well behaved dog allowed. The space Entrance hall, with coat hooks, washing machine, leading through to the open plan kitchen / dining / lounge area, which overlooks the garden. Well equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cafetière and all the usual pots and pans! Stairs lead to the bathroom with a bath and shower attachment. The bedroom has a super king bed, dressing table, chest of drawers, hanging space and is dual aspect. The garden is fenced, has a seating area for four. Guest access Car parking is via the drive immediately outside the property. We are one mile from Alcester, so easy to walk, cycle and drive in. Due to its rural location a car is recommended. There is fast electric charging in a car park in Alcester. Other things to note We are very close to the town of Alcester which has a number of supermarkets, fresh fruit and vegetable shops, cafes, pubs, takeaways, along with a petrol station. Two hour free parking is available in the Waitrose and Simply Fresh car parks. Electric charging of vehicles can be undertaken in one of the car parks. There are a number of farm shops in the area including Hillers on the Ragley estate and a fishmonger can call in on a Tuesday morning if you want any delicious fresh fish. The Granary is just outside a farm and whilst the road is quiet there is some traffic into the farmyard. During the summer months there are cattle on the farm and there are a few chickens in the farm garden. Coarse fishing is available on the River Alne. Please enquire if you are interested. Tea, coffee and fresh milk will be available for you on arrival and the bathroom is stocked with some mini toiletries. One well behaved dog is welcome. An additional charge of £25 will be made for the extra cleaning. Please advise on booking so that we can provide a dog bed and we can then revise your fees.
